Chongqing Rato Power Co., Ltd. was founded in March, 2007 by Chairman Mr. Zhu Liedong, an intelligent, attractive and strong enterprising leader, with a team of ambitious management in the same camp. Mr. Zhu was Chairman and shareholder of Loncin before Rato's establishment.

Since 1994, Mr. Zhu entered into motorcycle and power equipment industry, he has made notable achievement all these years, and was highly praised by colleagues, customers, and even competitors. The core members of the team ever served in world-famous companies have sufficient skilful experience in technique and management.

Rato is aimed to be the respectable enterprise in its industry, and to be one of the most competitive enterprises in General-Purposed Engine and All-Terrain Vehicle fields in China. Taking Innovation, Profession and Distinction as its business philosophy, Rato provides a series of high performance-to-price ratio products with its own intellectual properties to the middle and high end customers.

Rato is located in Shuangfu Industrial Park, Jiangjin, Chongqing, covering an area of 470,000 m2, with total investment of 100 million USD. Rato builds the advanced R&D center competent of design, engineering, testing and technical management. "Lean Manufacturing" is applied in all processes including machining, metal parts pressing and welding, plastic injection, coating and painting, and assembly. The production capacity is 3.5 million units of engines and its application products as well as 100,000 units of ATVs annually. Rato is well scheduled in products development and production trial, factory planning and construction, market exploration, communication with customers, human resources enrollment and training.
